Hans Moser

Neuhausen, 1922 - 2012.
Born in Switzerland, he grew up in the United States and returned to Switzerland in 1966. For decades he created humorous cartoons for the satirical magazine Nebelspalter, also as a columnist. At the center of his drawings is the defense of the environment and animals, a theme that he presents to the reader in an acute and critical way. And which earned him, in 1990, the Binding Recognition Gift, a prize awarded for a special commitment to nature and the environment. It is just one of the many awards he receives for his activity as a cartoonist and caricaturist: Tolentino, Turin, Bordighera, Skopje have paid homage to him.
And the municipality of Laax honored him with a path that today bears his name, the Senda Hans Moser.
