The International Humor Exhibition in Bordighera was the first conference of authors of drawings and books dedicated to humor and still remains today in Europe one of the main cultural reference points in the sector.
The site therefore presents a part of the thousands of works received over the span of over fifty years. It is divided into annual "Editions" each containing, in addition to the most relevant drawings, the list of winners for drawing and humorous literature, the major awards awarded, news and testimonials of interest. An effective engine facilitates the search by author or keyword.

Silver Date for humour cartoon 2023. From an early age Luc Vernimmen has been fascinated by drawing and comics, this has determined his graphic style to what it is today. The Graphic Arts education at St. Lucas School of Arts in Antwerp became an obvious choice. Later on he studied also Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts of Antwerp. The event could not have lasted for over fifty years without the contribution of numerous "volunteers" and "precepts" who brought enthusiasm and desire to do whatever the task received, with nineteenth-century shifts! From the choice of the drawings, to the preparation of the panels (always the same every year), to the posting with various pins of the hundreds of drawings up to the presence on stage.
We therefore want to thank, in absolutely no order but with equal contributions, all those who come to mind, apologizing if we miss some, but we are ready to fix it!
