The International Humor Exhibition in Bordighera was the first conference of authors of drawings and books dedicated to humor and still remains today in Europe one of the main cultural reference points in the sector.
The site therefore presents a part of the thousands of works received over the span of over fifty years. It is divided into annual "Editions" each containing, in addition to the most relevant drawings, the list of winners for drawing and humorous literature, the major awards awarded, news and testimonials of interest. An effective engine facilitates the search by author or keyword.

Hüseyin is a humorist living in the Turkish Occupation Zone in Cyprus. We mention him not only for his artistic talents that speak for themselves but for a fact to remember in the history of the Salone. In 1989 he won the Golden Date for the Fixed Theme and the medal of the Council of Europe but he could not come and collect the prize in Bordighera due to visa issues, in fact he resides in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The event could not have lasted for over fifty years without the contribution of numerous "volunteers" and "precepts" who brought enthusiasm and desire to do whatever the task received, with nineteenth-century shifts! From the choice of the drawings, to the preparation of the panels (always the same every year), to the posting with various pins of the hundreds of drawings up to the presence on stage.
We therefore want to thank, in absolutely no order but with equal contributions, all those who come to mind, apologizing if we miss some, but we are ready to fix it!
