Lorenzo Vannini
Lorenzo Vannini attended the International School of Comix in Florence and subsequently followed a satirical illustration course at the L.A.B.A. (Free Academy of Fine Arts), under the teaching of Lido Contemori. In 2006 he won the first prize at the International Review of Humor and Satire in Dolo and subsequently created personal exhibitions at the Puccini Theater in Florence, La Palazzina in Forte Belvedere, La Limonaia in Villa Strozzi and the Historic Literary Caffe Le Giubbe Rosse; he participates in group exhibitions together with Staino, Altan, Elle Kappa, Manara, Giuliano, Silver, De Angelis, Nardi, Biani and others. In 2019 he obtained the Special Jury Prize at the Cartoon Contest "Humor a Gallarate". He publishes on "Buduar, the Almanacco dell'arte Leggera", by Aloi, Provosto and De Angelis, on Left and collaborates with the "Cartoonists for the Constitution". He works at the State Institute of Art in Florence.
