Is the Salone coming back?

More than twenty years have passed since the last edition in 1999, literally a century ago ... So here we are, we're back!
We had a pending question that had been pressing us for some time: "How to reconnect the Salone to Bordighera and to the world of humor?"
After four years of work, after putting in place the archive, about 6,000 drawings by over 1,500 authors, 1,500 books, we are ready to answer that question.
A brief interview with the Mayor paved the way for us. Here is the idea: a look at the past to remember the central figure of Cesare Perfetto and all the authors who have come and gone over the years. And one to the future, to see if, beyond the folds of time, the Salone can still give a voice to humor.
We feel a bit like sailors setting sail for an unknown route… Time will tell.
